Today was a special day for me as i got to spend time with the children and family I sponsor in Uganda. After lunch I was taken by motorbike which was a scary ride and I got to see the children I must mentioned.

The house was a traditional round hut with a thatched roof and what an emotionally fantastic time I had. I bought a few simple gifts for them and such gratitude was shown!! After a while I played while them outside and as I span them round and round they laughed and kept coming back for more. Eventually they put on a meal for me and Rachel which was a great blessing but as we were about to leave the heavens opened and it poured with rain, we had to take shelter! I prayed with the family and left. Today’s experience left me sad, but also glad at the same time. Sad because of the children’s circumstances but because they are loved and not abandoned.

We also visited a local school and were able to interact and teach them a little as we were split into 6 groups.
