As the mission trip draws to an end it has been a starting point for us individually to reflect and measure the change within us. During our preparation for Uganda many told us, we would come back changed and totally different and I could almost see where people were coming from. However looking into the group I never noticed a huge amount of change, rather this trip has brought a willingness for people to look deeper within their hearts.

I can say this especially for myself as I never felt any culture shock, or any logistical issues moving from UK to Africa. The one thing I felt was that I possibly take my relationship with God for granted. Please do not misunderstand me, I have a great relationship with God but after experiencing the Ugandans praise and worship I feel challenged to go further with Jesus!

Did we change? Probably! But not the way we or other people thought. This journey was thoroughly spiritual for us all and because of that we go back into another dimension for Jesus.
