Amit and David accompanied Pastor Eric (Prison Pastor) for the first time to Gulu mens prison (new side) in what was an awesome experience. There is a church service held between 2pm-4pm every Sunday in the prison and this time there were 173 inmates in attendance.

The service started with some praise and worship which was some of the best Amit and David had ever seen. After this Amit anointed and released 9 prison inmates to be leaders in the church, to carry out ministry duties on a day to day basis within the prison.

David and Amit were then asked to share God’s Word in which David spoke about the Holy Spirit and Amit spoke about growth. As Amit ministered and prayed many were filled with the Holy Spirit and the dew of heaven fell down on the believers. We had one inmate surrender his life to Christ which is the greatest miracle on earth! As prayers continued there was a witness of 30-40 healing’s which included 9 inmates with broken bones completely healed as if their bodies were brand-new. There were broken backs, legs and deformed wrists completely healed for the Glory of Jesus!

The journey to the prison was tough as there was hard rain in Gulu, but it was worth it as God rained down on our precious brothers in prison. It didn’t feel like prison, it felt like Church!
