Just last week TEAMS and it’s GL12 Mens leader, Pastor Charles Lakon, had organised and led a two day men's conference with board member Amit Dattani flying in from the UK to speak and participate.

The event was extremely successful with topics consisting of: a responsibility of a man, how a man should be rooted, the family man and how a man would work hard to provide for his family. The response was fantastic from the men in terms of understanding what is required of them and the heart transformation that would be needed to grow. There was a good time of fellowship, lunch and prayer to top the day off.

The second day was very interesting as the men brought their wives for the conference. The focus had shifted slightly to what a wife expects of her husband as a family man, working man, father and of course a husband! There was the women’s ministry leader (Pauline Lajul) who spoke on this and she provoked a very good response from both the husbands and wives. There were approximately 100 in attendance across both days which is a fantastic turn out as the people of Gulu are extremely busy!

During the prayer times Amit had prayed for the sick and we witnessed total healing and recovery over stiff bodies, aches and pains! A great and fitting way to end the meetings!
