Pastor Charles received an early Christmas Present at the end of November when we handed him the keys to this house. Money for this project was kindly donated by a generous benefactor a little while ago and with subsequent appeals to top up funds were able to provide solar power for lighting and a bed, some chairs and a place to hang his clothes. The house has a metal roof and a living room with separate bedroom. Outside there is a free standing covered cooking area and a toilet block with separate shower. All water comes from our high level water tank above the bore hole so there is flushing toilets and running water.
The vision is to build 3 or 4 similar houses (which will share the kitchen and toilet facilities) to provide low cost renal accommodation for needy members of the community.
To do this, we need more funds. Can you help? Our target is £10,000.
